One of the important preparation steps was the visit to Parma, Italy. During the visit the members of the Organising Committee met mayor’s advisor on mobility Gabriele Folli. Mr Folli discussed the details of the rally’s conduction with Juri Tamm, Honorary consul of Monaco in Estonia and Mr Andriy Bilyy developer of electric mobility in Ukraine.
Except for the technical issues, such as the route, use of the charging stations, organisation of start/finish ceremonies, they also discussed the problems of sustainable environment and the necessity to support modern green vehicles.
We would also like to remind that Electric Marathon 2016 will start on May, 22 on Ploshcha Rynok, Lviv, and finish on June, 3 at Palace Square of Monaco, where the winners will be awarded by the patron of the rally His Serene Highness Prince of Monaco Albert II. The expected route of the marathon is 3000 kilometres and it passes through 10 European countries. Electric Marathon will reach Italy on May, 30, and Parma will be the first Italian city on the route, on May 31 the participants of the rally will pass Bologna and Florence, and on June, 1 they will make a stop in Pisa. We are ready to see sunny Italy!
