The participants of one of the largest electric car rallies that started last week – Electric Marathon 2016 Lviv – Monte Carlo – passed two countries in three days. On May 22 the crews crossed the state border and reached Polish city of Rzeszow, on May 23 they came to Wieliczka, and on May 24 drove to Czech Republic – towards Ostrava and Brno. During the first days the participants of the rally crossed a distance of almost 900 kilometres. For your information: the cruising range of Tesla’s top model – Model S – is between 300 and 400 kilometres for one charging depending on the type of the car.
The inhabitants of all cities that the Marathon goes through can themselves see the prototype of the Ukraine’s first electric car Synchronous. The typical feature of this car is the exclusive retro-futuristic design that reminds of an old carriage, comfortable and large body, and, besides, the fact that Synchronous is fully developed and assembled in Ukraine.
After Czechia the participants of Electric Marathon will visit Slovakia, the next stop is planned for Samorin. On June 3 the Marathon will finish in Monaco, at Palace Square. We would like to remind that on the eve of the Marathon’s finish, on June 2 in Monaco there will be held an international forum Energy Security for the Future, that is dedicated to the problems of alternative sources of energy and the discussion of energetic security of future. This event is organised by Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the general partners of the Marathon – companies Burisma and Electric Marathon International.
